AAIP PNP Draw Selects 120 People With High Cutoff Of 473
July 28, 2022: Alberta AAIP PNP draw selects 120 people with high cutoff of 473
Alberta recently shared its latest draw details where it selected a total of 120 people. However, the qualifying CRS cut-off has been set at 473. This figure is 176 points higher than the last June 16 Alberta AAIP PNP draw.
Besides, the draw has been conducted for the Alberta AAIP Express Entry stream applicants. And one can get an ITA for nomination if they meet the terms such as:
- Have an active EE profile. And applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- They meet Human Capital Factors such as:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Besides, either match or exceed the CRS cut-off of 473.
Once you get an ITA you will have to submit a complete application online. As per this stream, Alberta offers an ITA and picks applicants from the EE pool. Once you get a nomination you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This will raise your overall CRS rank. As a result, when IRCC holds periodic Express Entry draws like July 20, 2022, EE all-program draw then you will have higher chances of getting an ITA for Canada PR.
Alberta CRS cut-off reaches an all time high until now
In comparison to the last June 16, 2022, AAIP draw, the following are the updates:
- The number of ITAs issued is lower by 30 points.
- And the CRS cut-off for the current draw is up by 176 points.
- This is the highest jump in the CRS cut-off points up till now in 2022.
- Even in 2021, the highest cut-off was 351 in Dec 14, 2021 AAIP draw.
Looking at the above figures, we may expect this figure to come down but not immediately. It will take another 2-3 draws for this figure to come back to the earlier consistent point of 300.
AAIP PNP draw selects 120 people with high cutoff of 473. The jump in the cut-off is no doubt higher. But in past draw trends, we have been seeing these figures change with a mixed range. Where the highest CRS point rise was 31 points and the CRS fell by 76 points at one point in time.
Thus, we may see the cut-off as discouraging but all is not lost.
