Sep 14, 2022: 9 Ukrainians qualify in the latest MPNP special immigration draw

The 7th MPNP special immigration draw was held on Sep 14, 2022. Where the province selected 9 applicants. And to qualify the applicants needed to meet the following terms:

  • Have a minimum language skill level of CLB 4.

As per the last such MPNP draw on July 18, 2022, the current draw selected 2 fewer applicants. And these special draws are part of Canada’s special measures to aid Ukraine in the ongoing war. Canada has been supporting Ukraine since 2014, even after Russia declaring war on Ukraine (Feb 24, 2022).

Canada with its strong humanitarian roots supports such causes and concerns. Be it Ukraine or Afghanistan, the country has acted as a haven for refugees. Thus, aiding Ukraine was very natural. As of now, Ukraine has received $650 million in financial assistance apart from military assistance and technology.

9 Ukrainians qualify in the latest MPNP special immigration draw. And many more will qualify in the upcoming draws. As of now, in 2022, 154 Ukrainians have a nomination from MPNP Whereas in regular draws 4,651 applicants have an ITA for nomination.

Looking at ongoing events, we do not know when the war will cease. However, Canada’s support for Ukraine will stay strong. As has been the case in the past many other events. Thus, why would not anyone choose to live, work, study, work and or settle in Canada?
