805 more ITAs and 29 points lower CRS Cutoff in New OINP Skilled Trades General Draw

Ontario Sep 29, 2022: 805 more ITAs and 29 points lower CRS Cutoff in New OINP Skilled Trades General Draw

OINP Skilled Trades General draw issues 1340 ITAs. Also, to qualify applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 266 or more. In addition, applicants who have an ITA created their Express Entry (EE) profile between Sep 29, 2021, to Sep 29, 2022.

However, in comparison to the last May 26, 2022, OINP draw, we see 805 more ITAs and 29 points lower CRS cutoff in new OINP Skilled Trades General Draw.

As of now, Ontario has selected a total of 7506 applicants under the OINP Skilled Trades Stream. Whereas general draw under this sub-stream has issued 5230 ITAs.

If you have an ITA in this draw, then it means you have:

  • An active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Applied under 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    •  Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors such as:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Finally, get a qualifying CRS score of 266 or more.

Once you get an Invitation to Apply for a PNP nomination then you must submit a complete application. After the successful processing of your application, you will get a provincial nomination certificate. With this certificate, you can further apply to IRCC for a Canada PR visa.

If we just focus on OINP Skilled Trades Stream General draws, then we see a rise in ITAs. This means Ontario is selecting a higher number of people for PNP nomination. However, we do see some changes in draw figures. But overall, the selection of applicants is positive.
