Aug.10.2021: 51 applicants get an ITA for nomination in latest BC PNP Tech draw

British Columbia immigration update, 51 applicants get an ITA for nomination in latest BC PNP Tech draw. To qualify the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 80. And the applicants have been selected under the following BC PNP sub-streams:

Skills Immigration (S.I)

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate

Express Entry BC (EEBC)

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate

Besides, compared to the last July 27 BC PNP Tech draw, the current draw selected 8 fewer applicants. Whereas the CRS score is the same as always.

BC PNP Tech Pilot draw aims at selecting applicants who can grow the tech sector of BC. As a result, the applicant’s job occupation must come under 1 of the 29 in-demand tech occupations.

If you get an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC stream, then it means you have:

  • An active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Language Skills
    • Work Experience
  • Besides, applied to the BC PNP EEBC stream.
  • Further, occupation falls under 1 of the 29 eligible tech occupations.
  • Finally, have a CRS score of 80.

After getting an ITA against your EE profile, you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This will increase your chances of getting an ITA for Canada PR. And once you get an ITA you must submit a complete permanent residency application within 60 days of getting an ITA.
