However, small the reduction may be in the CRS score, but it surely has a positive effect on future applicants. Because increases LAAs and lowering CRS score shows that Alberta is will be selecting a higher number of applicants.
Besides, in the current draw, 250 applicants have been selected from the Express Entry pool. So, if you received an ITA in this draw then it means you:
- Have an active Express Entry (EE) profile.
- Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Worker Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet the Human Capital factors:
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Besides, have applied to the AINP Express Entry stream.
- Finally, have a CRS score of 300.
As you have an LAA in this draw, once you get a nomination from Alberta your EE profile will get an extra 600 CRS score. So, as an applicant, your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR will go up. Once you get an ITA, you must submit a complete application with all supporting documents to IRCC within 90 days from the date of reception of an ITA. Further, if accepted you will get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter. This letter confirms that you have qualified for PR. But this is not your PR card. The same will be made available when your reach Canada airport and give all your details to the Canada Immigration department. After that, you will get your Canada PR card at your Canadian residency.
