3500 ITAs 486 CRS in 246th Express Entry draw
3500 ITAs 486 CRS in 246th Express Entry draw
April 12, 2023: Canada held the 10th Express Entry draw, 6th Express Entry all-program draw and 4th consecutive Express Entry all-program draw. IRCC issued 3500 ITAs with 486 CRS cut off in the new 246th Express Entry draw.
Also, the tie-breaker rule applied to Apr 12, 2023, 246th Express Entry draw is set at July 19, 2022, 11:05:24 UTC.
Applicants who qualify in the current draw meet the following criteria:
- Firstly, applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Secondly, match Human Capital Factors:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Also, match or exceed the CRS cut-off of 486.
Thus, applicants who meet the above criteria have the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada. This means the applicants will have 60 days to submit a complete Canada PR visa application with all supporting documents to IRCC.
IRCC will then check the application to determine
- The authenticity of the information provided
- Medical Inadmissibility
- Criminal Inadmissibility
- Proof of Funds etc.
If all is found satisfactory, IRCC will process the Canada PR visa application. And the applicant will receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
When we look a the latest Canada Immigration news we see 3500 ITAs 486 CRS in 246th Express Entry draw. However, in comparison to the last Mar 29, 2023 EE all-program draw we can see the following updates:
- Firstly, ITAs lower by 3500 points.
- Secondly, the CRS cut-off is up by 5 points.
But looking at the past Express ENtry draws such a dip in ITAs and a rise in CRS is not surprising. However, we should expect positive updates post the current 246th Express Entry draw.
