350 Applicants Qualify in New AAIP PNP Draw
On Mar 22, 2022, 350 applicants qualify in new AAIP PNP draw. Also, to qualify the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 325.
The new draw has been conducted under the newly renamed Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) which was earlier known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Besides, this is not the only update introduced to the program. The province added two new immigration programs targeting the rural areas of Alberta. To know more click here.
The new and improved AAIP recently shared the latest draw details. However, in comparison to the last Mar 08, 2022 AAIP PNP draw we can see the following updates:
- The overall issuing of ITAs remains the same at 350.
- But, the CRS score is up by 7 points.
The current AAIP PNP draw is held under the AAIP Express Entry stream. As a result, the province selects qualifying applicants from the Express Entry (EE) pool.
The Express Entry (EE) System is Canada’s most popular immigration pathway. And handles applications from its 3 sub-streams namely:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
The reason for its popularity is because of the mass selection of qualifying applicants in each draw and every year. In 2021, the EE system issued a total of 405,303 ITAs for permanent residency in Canada.
The AAIP PNP program is also linked to the EE system. And when you get an ITA in the current draw then you will get an extra 600 CRS score in the EE pool against your EE profile. This will help you increase your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR.
And what could be better than this to expedite your Canada immigration experience.
