3200 Francophones selected in new Express Entry category based draw

Canada again sees a strong wave of Francophones entering Canada as permanent residents. Yes, on July 08, 2024, 3200 Francophones selected in new Express Entry category based draw. Besides, the current draw is the fifth Express Entry French language skills category based draw of 2024.

The following are the details of the current draw:

  • Firstly, 3200 applicants have PR invites in the new express entry category based draw.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off for this draw is 420.
  • Also, the tie-breaking rule applicable is May 30, 2024, at 03:37:43 UTC.

 

Moreover, in comparison to the earlier April 24, 2024, Express Entry French language skills draw, we see the following updates in the current draw:

  • Firstly, 1800 more applicants have a Canada PR visa.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off is higher by 10 points.

 

When we look at the past five Express Entry French language skills draws, we see that the current draw selects the second highest number of applicants up till now. With the first highest francophones being selected on Feb 01, 2024; 7,000 PR invites with a CRS cut-off of 365.
