Sep 07, 2023: 300 French Speaking applicants get NOIs in new Ontario OINP draw. The province conducted its latest draw under the OINP Express Entry French Speaking Skilled Worker stream. And the details of the same are as follows:

  • Firstly, 300 French speaking applicants have been selected.
  • Secondly, the CRS score range for this draw is 308-434.
  • Besides, applicants created their EE profiles between September 7, 2022, and September 7, 2023.
  • Also, in comparison to the last draw on July 25, 2023, we can see:
    • 205 more applicants have an NOI.
    • Besides, the CRS score range is lower by 08 points for the lower set and 60 points lower for the higher set.

Looking at the selection of 300 French speaking applicants we can see that the current draw is positive. Also, the OINP is linked to the Express Entry (EE) System as a result to apply to the FSSW category applicants need to:

  • Firstly, have an active EE profile.
    • Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as FSW, FST and CEC.
  • Secondly, match Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Also, meet the eligibility terms for the OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker stream.

Besides, once the 300 applicants get a PNP nomination, they will get an extra 600 points in the EE pool. As a result, their chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada go up. This is why most applicants prefer to apply via the OINP + Express Entry pathway.
