2nd BC PNP Tech draw of 2022 issues 11 fewer ITAs

Jan 18, 2022: 2nd BC PNP Tech draw of 2022 issues 11 fewer ITAs

British Columbia releases details of its latest draw and the 2nd BC PNP Tech draw of 2022 issues 11 fewer ITAs. However, the CRS score remains constant at 80. And applicants have been selected under the following BC PNP categories.

Skills Immigration (S.I)

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate

Express Entry BC (EEBC)

  • Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate

But one can see that in comparison to the 1st 2022 BC PNP Tech draw there is a fall in the issuing of ITAs. Such a meagre fall is of no alarm to Canada visa aspirants. As each draw results bring in different results. And it would be right to say that the upcoming draws will only bring good news.

Due to continued positive Canada immigration trends, we can see a rise in ITAs and a fall or consistency in the CRS score.

If you have an ITA under the EEBC sub-stream, then it is because of the following reasons:

  • Have an Express Entry (EE) profile and you applied under 1 of the following EE sub-streams:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Applied to the EEBC sub-stream.
  • Besides, have a qualifying CRS score of 80.
  • Finally, your job occupation falls under 1 of the 29 eligible tech occupations.

Once you get a nomination from BC you will get an added advantage towards getting a Canada PR visa. Because you will get an extra 600 CRS score against your EE profile. This puts you ahead in the race of getting an ITA for submitting a Canada PR visa application.
