288 LAAs issued for region specific selection in New MPNP draw

Aug 31, 2023: 288 LAAs issued for region specific selection in New MPNP draw for the first time. Manitoba held region specific selection MPNP draw. It selected 288 applicants out of which 127 applicants have been selected for having an active EE profile and a valid job seeker code.

The complete details of the draw are as follows:

• Firstly, 288 applicants have a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA).
• Secondly, out of 288, 127 applicants have an LAA because:
  • They have an active EE profile.
  • Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as FSW, FST or CEC.
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors: Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Skill Level.
  • Besides, have a Job Seeker Validation Code.
• Also, to qualify all applicants needed to match the qualifying draw score of 600.

Moreover, in the MPNP region-specific draw applicants who are working in Manitoba and agree to live outside the city of Winnipeg have an LAA in this draw.

Who does not qualify for an LAA in the new MPNP region specific draw?

If you do not have an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination, then it may be because of reasons such as:

• Firstly, your EE profile in the Express Entry (EE) System is inactive.
• Secondly, you did not get invited under the SWO Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
• Do not have a valid Job Seeker Code.
• Either did not share a valid language test number for French/English or your test results are no longer valid.
• Are working in a regulated occupation in Manitoba. But fail to prove that have a license to work in the same.
