BC begins to issue less ITAs as 26 less ITAs issued in Dec 22 BC PNP draw.

In comparison to Dec 08 BC PNP draw, 26 less ITAs issued in Dec 22 BC PNP draw. Also, the CRS score was the same for the Skills Immigration (S.I) stream. But was 2-points higher for the Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream. To qualify the applicants needed a CRS score of:


Skills Immigration (S.I)

  • Skilled Workers – CRS score requirement of 95 or more.
  • International Graduate – CRS score requirement of 95 or more.
  • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled – CRS score requirement of 77 or more.


Express Entry BC (EEBC)

  • Skilled Workers – CRS score requirement of 99 or more.
  • International Graduate – CRS score requirement of 99 or more.


Looking at the Dec 08 BC PNP draw, 26 less ITAs issued in Dec 22 BC PNP draw. But we can expect this number to only go up in the upcoming draws. there may not be an immediate change. And BC may select even lower applicants but soon it will pick up its pace. Thus, the current draw must not concern any future applicants.

As for the applicants who received an ITA in this draw must apply to IRCC for Canada PR. They must do so within 60 days of getting an ITA.


Did you get an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC stream?

In case you received an ITA under the EEBC stream of BC PNP then you must have:

  • Applied to BC PNP EEBC stream.
  • An active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Meet the Human Capital Factors such as:
    • Age
    • Language Skills
    • Work Experience
    • Education Level
  • Finally, have a CRS score of 99 or more.


If your profile gets a nomination from BC, then you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases your chance of getting an ITA for Canada PR.
