224th Express Entry draw for PNP applicants issues 932 ITAs
June 08, 2022: 224th Express Entry draw for PNP applicants issues 932 ITAs
Canada in its latest Express Entry draw selected a total of 932 applicants. Since March 2022, the 224th Express Entry PNP draw is the draw where we see the ITAs climb beyond 900 points. Whereas in April 2022, the figures were between 500-800 points.
In the current draw, the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 796 to qualify. Also, the tie-breaker rule set for the draw was October 10, 2021, at 17:13:17 UTC.
To get an ITA for permanent residency in Canada you must meet the following terms:
- Qualify to apply under 1 of the Express Entry (EE) System’s sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet Human Capital Factors be it age, education, work experience, and language skills.
- Besides, to get an ITA in a EE PNP draw you must have a provincial nomination.
- Finally, you must have a qualifying CRS score for the EE draw.
In comparison, to other Express Entry categories draws such as all program, FST, and CEC draws, the CRS draw cut-off always seems a bit higher. But the EE PNP draw CRS cut off is made up of base cut-off + 600 points for the nomination.
As a result, even if the draw score looks higher, in fact, it is not at all difficult to achieve and claim Canada PR.
224th Express Entry draw for PNP applicants issues 932 ITAs. This is a direct effect of the Canada immigration news of the resuming all Express Entry draws in the first week of July 2022. And now we can see the draws increasing the selection of applicants.
