207 provincial candidates get invitation in new BC PNP draw

Oct 31, 2023: British Columbia holds its latest provincial nomination draw under BC PNP. 207 provincial candidates get invitation in new BC PNP draw. The applicants have been selected under the regular 2-part draw series pattern under the Skills Immigration (S.I) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) categories.

The new BC PNP draw details are the following:

Part 1 – General draw

• Firstly, 133 applicants have an invitation.
• Secondly, the EOI score cut-off for the following is:
  • Skilled Worker & Skilled Worker EEBC – 111
  • International Graduate and International Graduate EEBC – 113
  • Entry Level & Semi-Skilled – 91

Part 2 – Targeted draw

• Firstly, 48 applicants with job profiles in the childcare sector have an invitation.
• Secondly, 22 applicants having job profiles in the healthcare sector have an invitation.
• Also, fewer than 5 applicants who have their job profile under ‘other priority sectors’ such as:
  • NOC 31103 – Veterinarians.
  • NOC 32104 – Animal health technologists and veterinary technicians.
• Besides, the EOI score for all the above is 60.

Further, to see the positivity of the current draw, we must compare the results with the BC PNP General + Targeted draw held on Oct 24, 2023. So, looking at the same we can see the following:

• Firstly, in the general draw, 14 more applicants have an invitation to apply for nomination.
• Secondly, there is no change in the selection of applicants from healthcare and other priority sectors.
• As a result, we see 22 healthcare applicants and fewer than 5 other priority sectors invites.

Thus, it is clear that BC PNP is selecting more applicants. Also, 207 provincial candidates who have an invitation in the new BC PNP draw, will now apply for provincial nomination. After approval, they will get a Provincial Nomination Certificate (PNC) and can apply to IRCC for a Canada PR visa.
