1st BC PNP draw of Sep selects 428 applicants

In the latest Canada immigration draw, the 1st BC PNP draw of Sep selects 428 applicants. Also, applicants were selected from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories.

On Sep 1, BC PNP held its first draw of the month in which it issued 428 Invitations to Apply (ITA). Also, to qualify the applicants needed the following CRS score:

Skills Immigration (S.I)

International Graduate – 98

Entry Level and Skilled Level – 76

Express Entry BC (EEBC)

Skilled Worker – 94

International Graduate – 98

Besides, in comparison to the last draw on Aug 18 BC PNP draw the CRS score requirement is down by 2 points in S.I Skilled Worker category. Whereas for the EEBC Skilled Worker category the CRS score is up by 2 points.

Further in Aug BC PNP selected the following number of applicants to apply for a Canada PR:

• Regular BC PNP draws – 739 applicants
• Tech Pilot draws – 124 applicants

• You have registered under both the Express Entry (EE) system and the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
• Have applied under 1 of the sub-streams of the EE system such as:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Also, Meet the terms of Human Capital Factors:
  • Age
  • Language Skills
  • Education Level
  • Work Experience
• Further, have applied to the EEBC stream of BC PNP.
• Finally have a minimum CRS score for 1 of EEBC sub-streams.

If you get a nomination against your EE profile, then you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This extra score increases your chance of getting an ITA to apply for a Canada PR.
