179th Manitoba PNP draw selects 526 PNP applicants for nomination. Besides, out of 526 LAAs, 225 have been issued to clients who have a valid Express Entry (EE) profile and a Job Seeker Validation Code.


The details of the 179th – May 18, 2023, MPNP Express Entry draw are as the following:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM)

Occupation-specific selection

Applicants who are currently working in Manitoba and whose job profile is in high demand in the province have an LAA in this draw.

  • 244 such applicants have an LAA.
  • Also, the qualifying score for them is 610.


As this part of the draw is occupation-specific, the province targeted applicants whose job profile comes under the:

  • 7330 – Transport and transit drivers

All Occupations

Applicants who do not have an LAA as per the above terms have been considered in this part of the draw.

  • 191 applicants have an LAA.
  • The qualifying draw score is 701.

International Education Stream (IES)

  • 21 applicants have an LAA.

Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)

  • 27 applicants have an LAA.
  • The qualifying draw score is 721.
